Comfort
Unlike other bicycle types which have very defined characteristics the term comfort bikes is use to described bikes which provide the rider a more comfortable ride. Comfort bikes are available in both 26" and 700c wheel varieties and generally have semi-slick (terrain) tyres, suspension forks, wide comfort saddle and a frame geometry and handlebars designed to keep the rider in an upright position, thus reducing strain on the lower-back, shoulders and wrists.
