Hybrid comfort bikes have 700c wheels, these wheels are the type of wheel commonly used on road bikes, however have wider rims and generally much wider tyres for additional grip on the road and rider comfort. Hybrid bikes have a frame geometry similar to a mountain bike, slick or semi-slick (terrain) tyres, suspension forks, a wide comfort saddle and handlebars designed to keep the rider in an upright position, thus reducing strain on the lower-back, shoulders and wrists.
